Ahsby Canal

The Ashby Canal, officially called The Ashby De La Zouch Canal, runs for 22 lock free miles from Marston Junction to the present end of navigation, about 1 mile north of the Snarestone Tunnel. The Ashby Canal is the first canal we are addingto the list.  The list will contain all the navigable inland waterways of Great Britain. It won't be a fast process, but it will be one full of fun and opportunity. I expect to learn a great deal and I want to share that knowledge. As we continue to grow we welcome your help along the way. Please feel free to contribute to the knowledge base submitting articles, photos, reviews and comments. We look forward to hearing from you and hope you follow the site as it grows.
